Hi I'm JenniferThanks for Stopping By

My name is Jennifer Cottom and I live in Orlando, Florida. I’m a native Floridian who was born and raised in south Florida. I first discovered my love of photography on a rare summer break from college while vacationing with my parents in the Florida Keys. With the birth of my first son, my focus turned to children and families as I captured our own child’s milestones as well as those of our friends.

Thus, I created JC Photo Orlando. It has since grown to include life events such as engagements, weddings, graduations, births and everything in between from pets to horses! I love what I do and like to think that what sets my style apart from others is the way I capture my subjects’ inner light – their personalities, relationships and joie de vivre!

My style of shooting is natural light with an emphasis on candid photography. Fun fact: I’m also an avid equestrian, having ridden and owned horses since I was young. Consequently, I also own Equus Photo FL as well where the focus is on the bond between horse and rider.

Step 1

Book Your Session

Fill out the questionnaire when booking your session. This will help take your session to the next level and produce the best results. Have questions or concerns? Let’s talk on the phone to discuss the details!

Simply sign a contract and pay a retainer to secure your ideal session date. Congrats! You’re all set and let’s start planning your photoshoot.

Planning Ahead

After you book, you will receive an online invitation to your session, a custom moodboard, and my excusive Prep & Style Guide which includes helpful style recommendations and tips on how to better prepare for your session

Step 3

Day of Your Session

Be ready to have the most enjoyable and fun experience that personifies the unique, artistic you. I will be fully prepared and on-site prior to our starting time.

For local photoshoots I will have scouted the location in advance to make full use of our time together. I will guide you throughout the entire session, bringing out your most flattering angles!
